HELP TO SELL SERVICE

We offer a 'Help To Sell' service for your vintage, antique and collectable items, strongly believing that everything has a place and that nothing should go to waste.

To many perfectly good and valuable items are going to landfill. Items that were once loved and cherished by yourself or a relative end up being disposed of because its the easiest and quickest option but this doesn't have to be the case.

As you will know from the pride we put into our shop Barnes & Bridge in Wheatley, we have a huge passion in all things retro, vintage and antique and you will also notice our enthusiasm and commitment to this when you meet us.

We appreciate that time is precious and with the busy lives we all lead we do not always have the hours in the day to sell those unwanted bits or clear a relative or loved ones house of their belongings. We are a lovely family run business who love what we do and take pleasure in helping others. We show compassion at all times as we understand how hard it can be to part with cherished belongings.

We do not offer a house clearance service but we do offer a 'Help To Sell' service.

How It Works

​

Our 'Help To Sell' service is a little different in that we will come out to the house that needs clearing and take away with us anything that we think can be sold on. All that we ask is that you make sure you have removed anything from the house that you would like to keep for yourselves or maybe for sentimental reasons and leave the rest to us.

From here we will bag/box and clean any items that need it, photograph where necessary and either sell in our shop in Wheatley, on our Etsy shop, on Facebook marketplace or via the auctions houses that we use. We will always choose the route that will reach the most profit and we will also store all items we take whilst the process is taking place.

What We Can Take/Sell

​

We can sell for you anything retro/vintage or antique. This may include jewellery, furniture, clothes and accessories, crockery, flatware, stemware, ornaments, kitchen items, toys and games, silverware and even tools + much more. There may be many items that you may have no interest in but that could be highly collectable to others. Items may be sold as single pieces or in lots at auction.

No Fees

​

We do not charge any fees to carry out the work involved and we only get paid when the items sell.

Once the items are sold we will then take 50% (after any fees have been deducted) and pass the other 50% onto yourselves.
